I've been all over the world and consistently stay at 5 star resorts and hotels. THIS WAS THE BEST RESORT ON THE ISLAND HANDS DOWN. We started our stay in NUNWGI for a few days and enjoyed the experience and the interactions with the locals. We thought we were at the best of the best on the island until we relocated to this resort. -NOT A FLAW IN THE RESORT -ANYTHING NEGATIVE YOU READ ABOUT IS OUT OF THE RESORT CONTROL What truly made this resort stand out were the WORKERS. From AZIZ SANYA welcoming you at the entrance to NURU NASSARY making sure your dining experience was unforgettable. The customer service is the best I've seen in my 18 years of traveling. The highlight of my stay was the bartender we grew to admire for his STELLAR CUSTOMER SERVICE. HANDS DOWN THE BEST BARTENDER ON THE ISLAND with an amazing PERSONALITY. MAUGO MIRAMBO remember that name and ask about him when you visit. I will recommend this place over ANY resort on the island. EVERYONE NEEDS ATLEAST ONE DAY AT THIS RESORT TO FEEL THE HOSPITALITY.

What truly stood out for me was the garden – it’s beautifully designed and adds a serene atmosphere to the property. However, the highlight of my stay was the staff. They are incredibly kind, polite, and always ready to help. Their warmth and hospitality made the experience even more special. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Zanzibar. It’s a perfect blend of comfort, cleanliness, and exceptional service!

Fantastic breakfast, changed everyday 🙂 the bungalow had everything u need and it’s not noisy so you can get a good rest. I did not use the pool but it looked super nice as well.

At the hotel, all rooms include a wardrobe. With a private bathroom fitted with a shower and a hairdryer, rooms at African Bungalows also have free WiFi, while certain rooms also offer pool view. All guest rooms at the accommodation feature air conditioning and a safety deposit box. The bosses are Turkish and they are very enthusiastic. The hotel's environment is very beautiful and quiet, the room facilities are very new, and the garden is beautiful. It is only 3 minutes away from the beach. I highly recommend living here.
