En by med masser av historie. Byen og dalen er full av historiske monumenter og borger. Avslappende gågater og en roligere puls enn f.eks. Torino og Milano. Perfekt utgangspunkt for turer opp i alpene, (Matterhorn, Mt. Blanc, store og lille St.Bernhard pass, eller tunellen til Chamonix.) Gondolen fra byen til Pila gir direkte adkomst til skianlegg som og passer uøvede alpinister meget godt. Flere skianlegg innen en times biltur. Enkelte gode restauranter . Et "must" ved besøk i dalen er den nye gondolen fra Cervinia-Breuill, opp til 3860moh, med strålende utsikt til Matterhorn. Les deg opp på historie, før du besøker dalen, det gir deg et bedre utbytte av turen hit.
