Hotel in East Boston, Boston ( 0.3 miles)
This AAA Four Diamond hotel is connected to Logan International Airport via a skybridge and is the only Boston hotel directly connected to Terminals A & E. I was looking for a hotel that would be nearby the airport. It was my first time travelling through Boston Logan. I did not know a thing about the airport, but reading that the distance from the airport to the hotel would be approximately 400 metres, I was sold. I will admit that I was prepared for about anything, and the property absolutely exceeded my expectations. The rooms are incredibly spacious, the room temperature control is outstanding, and the bed was amazing. Fantastic shower pressure and temperature. Finally, I was able to walk through a tunnel from the airport all the way to the hotel, so that was a nice bonus. The bell person informed me that the bus shuttle would drop me off at Airport T station, which enabled me to travel to central Boston. 100/10, would stay here again, always.

Our stay at the Crystal Cove Inn was nice. The office and check in staff were exceptional and went above and beyond to ensure that you had what you needed. The room we stayed in appeared to have been recently renovated and had a small full kitchen with granite counter top. The room although somewhat small was adequate and comfortable for two people. It had a nice harbor view. The grounds were well kept and the pool was nice to swim in. The inn is fairly close to the airport but the sound of the air conditioner masked most of the sound of the airplanes taking off and landing. That fact could be an issue in the fall when an air conditioner isn't needed or used. Overall I would recommend staying here. It's far away enough to find peace and tranquility but close enough to everything if you want something to do.
Boston is a cool city! It has a combination of American and European elements in the architecture. It is possible to find good food. The are several attractions worth a visit, such as the Museum of Fine Arts, the Science Museum, the Tea Party Museum, the Quincy market, and Little Italy. It is not far from Salem, an interesting town.
I loved everything about the hotel. Unfortunately, they charge for parking. This was not disclosed when I booked it and when my husband saw the pending charge on the credit card, I was told it would come off because it was already part of the fee through booking.com. While $15 will not break the bank, in the future I would probably choose another hotel based on principle. I don't appreciate surprise expenses when I travel.
Perfect location if you’re not renting a car, which is expensive and a hassle to park in Boston. It’s a very short walk to the Silver Line bus (free) to the Airport subway station, where you get to most anywhere in the city. You can also get off at the very next stop and transfer to the commuter rail to North Station or Salem and Gloucester. The area around the hotel looks rough, but I never felt threatened or uncomfortable, even when returning around midnight from a Red Sox game. The van service to and from the airport was great, also. The room was clean and comfortable. The hotel restaurant and bar was still closed due to the pandemic, which is completely understandable. There is a Dunkin’ across the street for coffee and several other food options within walking distance. I am planning to return to Boston next summer with my grandchildren and this will be my first hotel option.
Winthrop was a great town! We walked to the yacht clubs and Deer Island - enjoyed the beach front, picking up shells and clams, and the local restaurants had some pretty good food! Try D'Parma and Woody's! Bus transportation was great (except on Sunday) so we didn't need a rental to get anywhere we wanted.
An amazing city! One of the best in North America which would remind you visiting Europe, as it is very unique and outstanding among other north American destinations. Museums are great, streets are clean and you enjoy walking along the historical places and great architectural artifacts historical, contemporary and modern. Visit MIT engineering museum, you will not regret even with young kids, so much fun and col things to see and play with.
