I loved staying here. The location was great for those (like me), who don’t have a car. It was super easy to walk around the city. My room was immaturely clean and modern. As I was staying for a week, I was so pleased the small kitchenette had both a fridge and stovetop. The bed was comfortable and the room had air-conditioning.

Location when arriving by hire car (or take tram from airport) from airport doesn't look the best. You drive thru an area adjacent to docks, lots of unfinished buildings narrow roads ... The hotel has secured gate entry parking, 10 Euro, but in this city you won't need the car. Leave it in the compound. The hotel is spotless, room really large and fresh. No Aircon, just a fan and window, so maybe in spring or summer might be an issue, but in January or February no problem. Bed is incredibly comfortable, big and top quality mattress and bedding. Access from the hotel to downtown and everything you will want to see in Bordeaux, walk 3 mins to the tram line, get the B and 25 mins later you are in Bordeaux centre. TV has BBC1 if that helps. By the way the hotel is literally next to the huge modern wine museum, a spectacle on the cityscape. You could skip 11 Euro breakfast, eat at a cafe etc, but if you prefer no hassle in the morning breakfast is ok. Bordeaux is a very clean safe city, public transport to get around is a sinch and very efficient. Enjoy ...

Perfectly clean, all the amenities you need. It's not central, but you can see this on the map. The tramway A which takes you downtown is 1 minute away, so even if it takes about 25 min by tram, it's worth the cheaper price of accommodation. Quite far from the train station though, but also accessible by tramway. The Nespresso machine had a problem, 2/3 of my capsules got squished and fell through, so we're useless, but apart from that, everything worked. It was very quiet thanks to the loggia which buffers any noise from the street. In my room there were no blackout curtains, only thin white ones, but l brought a sleeping mask and slept very well. The staff sent me very detailed instructions to pick up my key as l arrived outside of reception hours. I would definitely recommend this place. The heated towel rack in the bathroom was the best! The spray from the shower was powerful and the water can go from very cold to very hot, which is perfect (some places you can't get the right temperature). Nice to be greeted with 2 teabags and 2 capsules, though that's not enough for a 3 night stay. After that, they charge you.

When we came our room was small, the window was broken and the smell was bad inside. Buuut the receptionist immediatly changed our room.and the new room was just perfect. We had a spacious room, super comfy bad, a lot of space, coffe mashine. It was a really good rest !!:) (red room, number 208) It was supereasy to reach main objects by foot, by public transport also ;)
