This is my 2nd Grand Base hotel on this trip. These hotels are noted for their cleanliness, larger rooms, well equipped kitchen, washer/dryer, smaller buildings and high tech toilets. It’s only about 7 minutes to the train station. Check-in and out were easily done on a tablet. Highly recommend!

GRAND BASE Saiwaimachi is located in Nagasaki, less than 1 km from Nagasaki Station, 2.1 km from Nagasaki Atomic Bomb Museum, as well as 1.7 km from Nagasaki Museum of History. Nice specious room, for a double bed it was a little small but not uncomfortable. Some stains on the sofa that could have been cleaned but again no biggy. All in all very good value and the check in process was very simple and user friendly

Situated within 700 metres of Nagasaki Atomic Bomb Museum and 1.2 km of Peace Park in Nagasaki, GRAND BASE Urakami features accommodation with seating area. The location was easy to find from the Nagasaki Bus Terminal, and the staff was very helpful with the check process (we contacted them via chat and they were very quick with the response). The room completely exceeded our expectations, the beds were spacious and lined with clean beddings, and overall, the atmosphere of the room was very good. If you are looking for a comfortable stay with your family and friends then I most certainly recommend this hotel.

The local people we met were very friendly and helpful. We can easily walk to train station. We accessed Nagasaki public transportation from station to visit Peace Park.

We appreciated that it had a nice little separate bathroom and toilet, as well as a semi-separated lounge area. It was the perfect base for our stay in Nagasaki.

Super convenient location - 5 mins from Nagasaki JR station and tram. Lots of places to eat and drink nearby. Modern clean and comfortable room - great for a family as had 4 beds. Was also a bonus to find a free washing machine and drier.

Good space for 4 people. Paid parking is right across from the location. Walking distance to Chinatown. Convenient store and restaurants are just on the same street. The bath is spacious.
