The staff was courteous and check-in was quick and efficient. It was winter so I couldn't comment on the swimming pool as it was far too cold. There are plenty of stores and restaurants within a short distance. Ha'il is very spread out, however, but we had a car so getting around wasn't an issue. It really is just a basic decent hotel with no frills, perfect for what we were willing to pay for.
