As a family of 5 adults, as part of a 9-days self-drive, we stayed at the campsite for one night.The Campsite is at a great location the base of the mountain. All rooms are the same size with excellent toilet and shower facilities quite near the rooms. The site manager,Anna, is quite bubbly and very helpful with lots of guidance. It is quite off-grid, wonderful in the daylight, and,due to minimum light pollution, striking star constellations can be seen at night. We were fine at night, but the leaflet in the bedrooms warns to be careful of snakes i.e. the horned adder and zebra snakes.Overall, highly recommended.

This was by far one of our favorite stays while traveling in Africa. The hosts communicated nicely before we arrived, sharing the location and asking us what we were interested in doing while in town. They also gave amazing recommendations for close by food and drinks. The room and outdoor space was nice and spacious, thoughtfully decorated, and felt easy to relax in. The shower was perfect after a day of activities with good pressure and heat. It was a much needed feeling of home after traveling for so long. We came as strangers and left feeling like family! Another part was their recommendation to do a tour of Sandwich Harbor with the tour guide, Gideon. Hands down an amazing experience with fresh oysters, champagne, and good eats while in the middle of the Namib desert. After we expressed a desire to sandboard, he ensured we had an amazing spot and prepared boards for multiple awesome rides. Then we enjoyed a spectacular Braai with everyone and it is something I will remember forever.

I had a lovely stay at Bibi's place. The apartment is well-sized and feels very homely, which served quite well during my Namibian workation. It's a stone's throw from the beach for a sunset and the neighborhood is extremely serene. You can take decently short and therapeutic walks to the nearby mall or to the Swakopmund town area, all without leaving the side of the beach. I took no cabs while there and walked everywhere. Bibi is also extremely helpful with all bookings and anything you need during your stay, and made my experience in this beautiful part of the Namibian coast a breeze.
