I will tell my UK friends about this beautiful place I stumbled across in sleepy Zilina. Never experienced in hotels before towels and bedding without smell of chemicals, a bonus for me as I try to avoid chemical on skin. Rather a fresh new smell, and through the apartment, pleasingly indescribable. It’s so quiet, not a noise heard, not even a peep ensuring a good nights sleep on the most comfortable bed. Whoever designed the place designed down to the minute detail, even the walls are super designer as you walk through part of the building to your room. The owner speaks fluent English, and is very welcoming and friendly, and so polite. What a place!

Situated in Žilina, the recently renovated Apartmán Rajecké Teplice features accommodation 26 km from Strecno Castle and 12 km from Lietava Castle. The apartment is in a very convenient place in town. It was renovated, smelt great and clean. The apartment was kitted out with everything you could possibly need (such as cooking ingredients, shower and cleaning products etc.). The hosts were also very nice people and helped jump our car battery in the morning before we left :))

Apartman Panorama Park & Free Parking, a property with a garden, is set in Žilina, 12 km from Strecno Castle, 5 km from Budatin Castle, as well as 10 km from Lietava Castle. The host met with us and explained everything that was needed. The location was quiet and beautiful, near a park. The apartment was spacious and decorated in a modern and tasteful manner. Our accommodation included all the needed facilities.

Situated within 37 km of Orava Castle and 26 km of Budatin Castle in Terchová, Chalupa Synka features accommodation with seating area and a kitchenette. Good location, food store(s), restaurants are in few minutes walking distance. Parking in the garden. Owner is very gentle, and can be reached via chat if needed. Good starting point for Malá Fatra tours and hiking. I recomend it, and would rent it again!

Located in Žilina, 12 km from Strecno Castle and 5.4 km from Budatin Castle, CLAY Apartment Bôrik vírivka len v letnom období offers a bar and air conditioning. Absolutely amazing place, very well designed and comfortable. Silent at day and night, has everything you could think of, even Netflix account on huge TV. Grill is the best, definitely have to try when staying here.

Wow, what a pleasant surprise 🤍 this was much nicer in person. Looks like it has been newly remodeled. Everything inside brand new. Loved the lighting and candles. Kitchen well equipped. Shower was incredible, 3 different options and has high power to massage. Bed was comfortable. Quiet area near a nice park. Couple restaurant nearby. 25 min walk from bus station/train station/old town.
