Marco and his wife, Khan, were excellent hosts and on-site to provide whatever was needed. They have created a special and charming environment, inside and out at Villafarmsuk. It has everything one needs, and the grounds are superb. The landscaping is lovely, and it is obvious the owners were quite mindful when creating this special area in the jungle that is also very close to Khanom town. The bed was extra comfortable and firm, but not too firm - just right.

Khanom Beach Residence er staðsett í Khanom-hverfinu og býður upp á gistirými með sundlaug. Firstly, the location is perfect, right on the beach with a beautiful pool. That's why we chose it. We were somewhat disappointed however with the apartment. When we arrived ( not early ) the room was not ready, still being cleaned so we had to go and have some food and drinks while we waited. When we got in to the apartment we found the kitchen very small and not well appointed. We were 4 people and there were not enough dining room chairs and the dining room table was way too small. We gave our friends the better room which meant our room had no window. There were also no reading lights next to the bed and, although there was a very nice big tv with speakers, there were no instructions as to how to use it. Fortunately we weren't there to watch tv. The shower rose leaked so badly it poured over the glass partitioning and made the bathroom floor dangerously slippery. We found the balcony was very dusty - I think the cleaner forgot to clean outside. The aircons all worked well and the mattresses and pillows, although on the hard side, were comfortable enough. This apartment just needs some care and attention and a little upgrading and it has the potential to be a gem. It is in a perfect location on the beach with beautiful views. We have stayed at the Residence before but in a 1 bedroom apartment which was much nicer hence the disappointment in this one. Hopefully the owner of this apartment reads this and makes the necessary improvements to make it a better, more enjoyable stay.
