Located in Gatineau, Aux Berges des Outaouais is located on the shores of Rivière des Outaouais. More than 497 mi of cycling trails are located along the river, as well as La Route Verte. Fantastic bed and breakfast, impeccably kept and managed. The location is enchanting, the room is wonderful and in the morning you get treated to a generous breakfast. JT and Parissa are wonderful hosts, and we can't wait to go back and stay with them for a longer, more relaxed stay. Thank you both!!!

Overlooking Oxtongue Lake, this cottage resort is 6.2 mi from Algonquin Park. It offers on-site access to a sandy beach and a fully equipped kitchen in each cozy cottage. The cottages are adorable. I was in a one bedroom. It has a fully functioning kitchen (bring all your groceries including butter, oil. And coffee grounds/pods. And a flat pan. Surprisingly no pan in the kitchen). It had really good heating. No AC but we didn't need it. No bugs inside. The veiw from the windows was a slice of heaven. BRILLIANT for kids. Two playgrounds, a library with toys, a lake opposite. Next to Algonquin so loads of fun trekking. We went when it was cold but they have paddle boats, and canoes and life vests. Honestly I am blown away by how entertained my 2 year old was in this resort.

Newsroom Suites is located in the center of wine country in Prince Edward County. This boutique hotel is within cycling distance from wineries, cideries, artisan breweries and galleries. Location, location, location…and then we found out that it also doubles as headquarters for town newspaper! Loved our stay.

Built in 1816 and located in Ontario’s oldest community, Niagara-on-the-Lake, the Historic Wilson-Guy House is just 3 houses down from the shops, theatres and restaurants of Queen Street. The location, host, and food were excellent.
