Most everything about Hotel Espadon Bleu and La Lavandou exceeded our expectations. The hotel was more casually elegant than imagined and the staff were friendly and exceptionally helpful. Our delightful balconied room with table and two chairs looked out over a quaint treed plaza below and a white-sand beach and the Mediteranean Sea. The hotel served breakfast buffet in a large dining area fronting seaside with an array of foods from nuts and mini crepes and waffles, to jams, cheeses, thinly-sliced bite-size meats, fresh fruits, and soft and hard-boiled eggs, along with an incomparable selction of breakfast breads and bite-size pastries. A machine brewed coffees to order, with teas and two types of juices also available. The hotel felt secure, very free and easy. The surrounding countryside and coast all breathtakingly beautiful.
