Trish took great care of us, especially my daughter, giving her time with the horses and donkeys and making her feel part of the family atmosphere they have in the stables. Unfortunately, Jon was not there during our stay, but still maintained an excellent job with the communication.

The room was spotless and very cosy. Both my mum and I slept very comfortably and we're both fairly picky when it comes to bed and pillows. The bathroom was spacious and very clean. We had a full english breakfast on both days and it was wonderful as well. But the real gems are the owners. I haven't had much time to chat with Andrew but he was so helpful when we first arrived and Lorraine is an absolute sweetheart. My mum, who doesn't speak English, couldn't stop telling me how wonderful and welcoming Lorraine was and I think she was fairly jealous she couldn't have a chat with her. I would totally recommend this place and I will definitely come back in the future if my travels take me to South Shields again.

Rez was an amazing host, I had everything I needed in my room, so much coziness and warmth to fight the cold outside. Unfortunately, I was n't able to enjoy the famous breakfast of Rez but...well, next time! The location is also excellent, one breath away from the sea, restaurants, coffee shops and metro station. I was waking up every morning with the sound of the seagulls flying. Highly reccomend it and would definitely like to stay there again. Thank you for having me.
