The location was beautiful, the house was just across the road to the seafront. The house is beautifully furnished with amazing woodwork. The soft furnishing is stylish and very good quality. Decoration is light, bright and a wonderful theme of green! The kitchen was fully equipped, and a lovely selection of welcome goodies were there when we arrived. The beds are very comfortable. The seating areas are lovely, terrace and balcony facing the front out to sea and back terrace sitting and bbq area in the shade. Absolutely perfect! Our hosts Cesar and family were so incredibly helpful, a very big thank you to them for making our holiday so special.

This is really a paradise house - it is so peaceful and quiet in there and the views are amazing. It feels like you are alone in the world - life changing experience. The house is very stylish and well-equipped with all the necessities. You have a large territory coming together with the house, including forest, terrace, view points. The drive to the nearest beach takes about 10 minutes and to the city is around 15 minutes. The hosts are very welcoming and willing to help with any questions/requests.

The room, food, decor, location, atmosphere, all spot on! but what really made this place great was the staff, all so kind and so helpful, nothing was too much trouble and everything done with a smile. Casa da Bisa - Santa Maria - Açores is situated in Santa Bárbara and offers a garden and barbecue facilities. Boasting bicycle parking, this property also provides guests with a picnic area. The holiday home also features free WiFi, free private parking and facilities for disabled guests. Host was so kind and helpful. She filled the kitchen with food and wine. Even did laundry for us. I can't say enough positive about this stay. It was a highlight of our 3 week trip!!!
