I did not stay for breakfast as I had an 8am appointment in Cairns. I did however have a delicious dinner the night before and an interesting conversation with the owner Blanche, a widely travelled and entertaining French woman. Next time I stay on the Atherton Tableland it will be here.

Offering an outdoor pool and BBQ facilities, Atherton Blue Gum B & B is located in Atherton. WiFi access is available throughout. Each room features a TV and tea and coffee making facilities.

We got upgraded to the summit rainforest retreat accomidation so didn't get to see what blue gum was like. But really enjoyed the spacious upgrade.

The Summit Bed & Breakfast, B&B v mestu Atherton

Built in the classic "Queenslander" style, this B&B features a access to the outdoor deck with 180-degree views. All units come with WiFi connection for multiple devices.

The Summit B&B is located in a very quiet part of Atherton within a beautifully maintained rainforest garden that is home to many birds and other native wildlife. It was pleasant having a coffee in the morning and observing them. There's a well equipped kitchen and a BBQ. We had our grandchildren over for dinner and a swim. It was a great place for them to visit us while we were in town. The living room has very comfortable arm chairs for relaxing and watching a movie.
