The hostal was in a great location on the Camino. Jose and his wife are perfect hosts. As Jose says, ‘you arrive as a guest but leave as family.’ The room was spacious and clean. It is close to restaurants and shopping. Jose speaks English, Portuguese, and Spanish and will give you recommendations. This is our second stay here and we’ll be back again if we return to the Camino.

Amazing location with fantastic views, we had a private room with great air con. The pool was fabulous as well. We had read some bad reviews and had considered cancelling but so glad we didn’t as it was a fantastic place to stay.

Great location and lovely little hotel after a long walk on the Camino. It's right in the middle of the village. We had a lovely lunch here and they booked us in for dinner in the sister hotel at the end of the town (10 mins walk or so). Very nice staff here who really care about their guests. Breakfast was nice too.

We loved the location. We loved the building. We loved our cosy, comfortable room. The view from our window was stunning! The garden views were amazing, and we enjoyed our coffee sat in our private oasis in the mountains. Our hosts were wonderful, a hardworking couple making the place their own! fresh produce, soups, wonderful cake! We wish them well with their plans. We hope to visit again.

This was the "luxury" hostel along the Camino de Santiago. Large, modern, fairly new, in good condition, very clean. Location at the end of town with terrific view into the valley to the west. Lots of extra facilities like swimming pool and hamman, which we did not use. We had double room with private bath: room large, bed comfortable, good shower. Evening menu delicious.

Best place we stayed on the entire Camino! Wonderful host, welcoming, warm, informative and great company. He has created a fantastic boutique B&B, in a charming stone villa, in a beautiful little village. He has food and drinks available, and makes a terrific breakfast too. A lot of other places could do well to adopt some of his hospitality and customer focus. Spoke to other pilgrims who stayed there, they all agreed it was a highlight of the Camino. Do yourself a favour and stay here!
