Featuring free Wi-Fi and a café-bar offering breakfast, Pensión Residencia Tambre is located 1.6 mi from Santiago de Compostela city center, beside Vista Alegre Park.

The room was lovely and quiet. I had room 26 on the front of the building. Ava who checked me in was very friendly, welcoming and helpful with suggestions. It was a 15 or 20 minute walk to the center of town, with lovely parks and neighborhoods along the way. And there are two grocery stores within a few blocks. The only downside was how long the shower took to heat up.

Beautifully presented apartment that was pure luxury and such a treat after finishing the Camino. Mati is an excellent host, she met us and went through everything with us. Her attention to detail is something special. From the beautiful furnishings, really comfortable beds, white fluffy towels, right down to the fresh flowers in the living areas and everything you can think of left out for breakfast. Really spacious, great location and quiet at night. The only negative was that our stay was not for longer!

One of the best place I've ever stayed. So cozy. Great location (pretty close to the city centre, but calm). Private yard. Very clean. EVERYTHING (and even more) you need for living on the kitchen and in the bathroom. Even iron - that's a miracle after Camino! Very helpful owners. We didn't want to leave. We're so thankful for such an amazing vacation!

Great location. Nice room layout, basic kitchen, comfortable bed, quiet room. Nice to have heating without having to ask staff to turn it on. Nice high ceilings, small but private courtyard. Provided adequate toilet paper! Great to have washing machine/dryer combo. Great dim lighting in bathroom (for night time) and bedroom. Easy no-key access. Nice clean bedroom linen.

Historical place, I found it to be very characteristic for the end of camino. Kitchen and laundry well organised. Small market with breakfast. I felt very good there. Had a little private room and could feel into monastery life a little. A bit away from the city, therefore quiet (though I was not there in high season...) but close enough to walk to the city centre. I would stay again.

This was the only place on the Camino Portugues where we were handed our keys, and invited to go to our room before doing the paperwork.Very thoughtful. The staff and nuns were all friendly, smiling and helpful. Our room was simple but comfortable with a private bathroom The casa diocesana is in a quiet area, a 15minutes' walk from the cathedral. Breakfast is plentiful, with fresh fruit, cheese and ham etc.

Compact apartment that is light and bright, with everything you need. A very modern renovation but still charming. And there's an elevator! Very good, quiet location. Not cheap but this is a very expensive destination town. Became better value for money because we saved on the very pricey restaurants by cooking at home. Local supermarket prices are very fair.
