The hosts were warm and welcoming and yet allowed us our privacy. The 18th century mansion is elegantly decorated, the grounds and courtyard are stunning. The bedroom suite was fabulous and the linen clean and luxurious . The location was central yet calm and tranquil. Fantastic breakfast served in a beautiful dining room with lovely china and cutlery. We had croissants, local yoghurts and cheeses and lots of homemade produce including banana bread and jams.

Wonderfully restored old property (maybe a coach house?) with very spacious rooms, tall ceilings with huge windows, and a quiet location in walking distance from all points of interest in Arras. Extra bonus for the courtyard, which allowed easy and secure parking. Very helpful host. Overall, a gem: bookmarked for return.

Stepping into this house is like entering a secret world. The building has been beautifully restored by its supremely talented architect owner. A total joy to be there, even on a grim day/night in January. The garden must be fantastic in the summer. Very comfortable beds and a sumptuous bathroom, and so many clever and sympathetic design details. A huge amount of care was taken to welcome me and ensure I had everything I needed. Delicious breakfast. Endlessly patient with my mangled schoolboy French. All in all, a total delight. I'll be back en famille.
