Even though we only stayed for one night the hosts were very very very welcoming. Isabella and her husband, daughter, + Dogs Murdoch and pup where a pleasure to meet. We had long conversations at Breakfast with the family and other guests from Amsterdam. The homemade compote and huge coffee cups refreshed us for the journey ahead. This B &B stay really created some happy memories of our tour of France. Unfortunately we could stay longer as had to rush back to Dieppe for our ferry (10 hr drive) but would love to go back The old town only 10mins in car was a medieval delight with many restaurants. Isabella booked us into a restaurant as our French is so poor and we were tired after 4 hours drive The is a great place to go canoeing about 45 mins drive away. Finally the pool was very warm and empty when we visited even with free bathrobes. Marks out of 10 : 15 Merci Isabella pour ce merveilleux séjour d'un jour. Nous espérons revenir.(google translate)

Valerie made us very welcome and offered us a delicious homemade non-alcoholic fruit cocktail on our arrival. Our room was large and beautifully furnished and the bed particularly comfy. The ensuite shower room was modern with a large cubicle and powerful shower and there was a separate WC. Breakfast next morning was delicious with homemade cakes and preserves and cherries and strawberries from the garden. The timber decked swimming pool area was stunning and the whole refurbishment/remodeling of the old farm buildings which make up this delightful chambre d'hotes has been done with thought, imagination and flair. It is very high quality and I would recommend it to anyone. A real shame we were only staying one night, but this was our first of three overnight stops on our way back to St Malo from visiting friends near Carcassonne in the South West.

Very charming Chambre d'Hôtes in a beautiful area. The owner, Iris, is a very nice lady and gives you a warm welcome and makes sure your stay is very comfortable. Her dog, Fleur, is the sweetest. The Chambre d'Hôtes is very cozy, clean and really feels like home. The rooms are also very nice and clean. Very comfy bed. I really like to small village with the authentique bakery across the street and the church, who gives you a real idyllic wakeup call. I definitely come back again.
