The Spirit of 1944 is an exceptional location to visit all of Normandy. The hotel pays great homage to WW2 with wonderful memorabilia, and atmosphere. Situated near where an old airfield was established, the owners regale visitors with stories of the property and the area during WW2. The rooms are extremely comfortable, spacious and beautifully appointed. Breakfast was delightfully homemade with local products in their beautiful kitchen. We look forward to a return trip!
