Absolute surprise to find this oasis in the town! Wonderful house in the city with huge backyard and pool. Deliciouos breakfast in the lovely garden. Highly recommend this hidden gem! Also 2 seconds to the centerof town and its great Saturday market.

One of the best bed and breakfast accommodation that we have ever stayed at. (And we have traveled a lot in France) The 'accueil' as they say in French was perfect. The Manoir is beautifully decorated with a bit of whimsy to brake up the antique look. Even though it is a restored Manoir, the facilities are very comfortable. Our room was spacious and pin drop quiet. Bathroom was huge and lacked for nothing. The hosts think of everything you could need for a peaceful evening and night. Coffee and tea with small cakes and bottles of water in the room. Breakfast was copious, prepared to your tastes; served in an amiable manner with a smile by Benoit. Frank helped us choose restaurants for evening dinners. All in all a lovely two days.

Really helpful hostess and very friendly and accommodating. Really tasty breakfast too! Great facilities with access to a fridge and microwave - just what we needed for baby food.

We were greeted at the door by the owner Auxielle who gave us a very warm welcome, and introduced her father too. All the staff we met spoke English - so being understood was not an issue. It is a small family run establishment - 4 or 5 bedrooms available currently. Exquisitely decorated in a heritage French style as it used to be their family home. Our room was simply gorgeous- sunken bath, huge waterfall shower, seperate toilet. There was a sofa and other chairs / tables in our room, in addition to the bed, so space was not a problem. Once shown our room, and the facilities, we had a cocktail on the terrace in the sunshine. Delicious! NB: Dinner is served on site only on certain evenings - but we had an email with the details, and recommendations of other restaurants in the local area. It worked out really well. Breakfast was in the shade on the veranda - options included the standard Continental breakfast, cereal, fruits, cheeses, ham, pastries & croissants. Freshly squeezed juice, tea and coffee - our cups were filled multiple times. All the staff we meet gave us the impression that they would do anything they could to make our stay pleasant. Parking on site is behind secure gates but residents are given automatic gate opening buzzers so they can come and go as they please. We were staying one night only, and did not make time to try the pool - which is definitely our loss - but a good reason to come back another time.

Self-contained accommodation in the home of charming family. A dip in the pool was very welcome after a day of sightseeing. Very clean, spacious and comfortable for 2 adults over 4 days. Parking for normal size sedan available. Bus stop (#5?) not too far away, pleasant walk to main part of town.

We loved our hosts, who made us very welcome and were delightful, interesting people. They make GREAT preserves, too, from local, organic fruits they harvest from their own garden or get from friends nearby. The accommodation is really a whole floor of the house, so you get a suite, really. There is a bedroom with big windows, and across the landing a room kitted out with fridge, kettle, microwave and lots of treats, plus the bathroom. As other reviewers have pointed out, having some French will considerably augment your pleasure! You'll be having breakfast in the kitchen with them, and they are enthusiastic and talkative...in French. We loved them, and will stay again the next time we're passing through Montauban! They gave us lots of good tips, and lent us their bicycles, too. (Don't miss the Musee Ingres. It's fab.)
