We stayed one short night on route to the Eurotunnel for an early crossing after a long drive up the day before. The property was perfect for us and well located in a quiet area in the middle of town but with many restaurants a short walk away. Montreuil deserves a longer two night stop and is a great town to explore.

WOW. Best hotel room/suite we have ever stayed in, Huge, tasteful and very stylishly furnished. Big comfortable bed, Great bathroom and facilities. Great powershower. Lovely grounds. Nice breakfast and helpful, friendly hosts

The location is very central to the town of Montreuil and it’s a very beautiful old house. We stayed in the suite in the attic and it was spacious and beautifully decorated. Breakfast was very generous and served by a very friendly lady.

Old house tastefully modernised. The decoration of the room was beautiful - spacious with separate sitting room, toilet and bathroom. Thoughtful touches - welcome chocolate, coffee machine, water etc. The host has limited English but very communicative and obliging and friendly. Fantastic breakfast. Close to Medieval ramparts which completely encircles the town - lovely evening walk. Huge selection of cafes and restaurants nearby. Seemingly few tourists - for us a real bonus!

A lovely, unique place to stay in a slightly quirky by beautifully converted property. Exceptionally clean with big, well thought-out and well appointed rooms. Breakfast was wonderfully fresh and the staff very welcoming and engaging.

Very comfortable. Ideal location. Good hosts. Perfect weekend break base. Sur Mer, their beach restaurant in Merlimont, was very enjoyable. Will be back.
