Beautiful chateau which has retained all of its original charm while providing really comfortable facilities in a lovely location. The hosts were very welcoming and charming and the dinner and breakfast were excellent. The swimming pool is a great size - you can really swim in it - and there is plenty to discover in the local area.

We have stayed at Clos Marie for 2 days (1 night) That was our "Escape the City" weekend to connect and Recharge the Soul - cleanliness: impressive (5/5) - bedding: five-star-sleep (5/5) - interior equipment: modern, design - breakfast: everything what you need and more - host: kind and benign - activities: swimming and cycling (path 40 km - the host can arrange it upon request) and of course GARDEN and SWIMMING POOL We will definitely get back there with our kids as there is everything what you need to spent quality time with your family !

Location very remote , but brilliantly situated, heart of the country side, animals were an added bonus. Breakfast very nice, homemade jams croissants and French bead.Booked a lunch time meal and took the friend we were visiting, exceeded all ideas , lovely, home, fresh cooked . Excellent. Feeding the donkeys daily was a good experience and hosts were so lovely, friendly, helpful. Have already recommended it to a friend who will be travelling later this year . Comfortable and warm room, good shower and teas and coffees provided

Really enjoyed our stay. Excellent quality of sleep, good breakfast n good recommendations for places to visit. The kitchen downstairs gives a possibility to cook in the evening if one is not in the mood to go out. Marie is a wonderful host.
