Staying here was such a unique experience. It was homely and welcoming, and it was clear that so much thought had gone into the interior design of each room and living space. The staff were friendly and super helpful, accomodating our family at short notice. The included breakfast was delightful, and a good opportunity to chat with fellow travellers.

The hostess was delightful and when we arrived, even though it was raining, there was a sign outside the home welcoming us by name! What a wonderful start to our very pleasant stay. The home was quite charming just as the online pictures showed. We were given freedom to enjoy the comforts of the home, in addition to our private room. There was a fantastic library that we could use with many books of the area. The breakfast was exceptional with homemade yogurt, hot chocolate, cheeses and breads. The fruit salad was a real treat, as was her homemade petite chocolate muffins, and her rhubarb/orange jam. Before leaving, the hostess gave us a tour of her expansive garden to show us her beautiful flowers, including my favorite - lily of the valley. There was a beautiful, ancient church up the hill within walking distance. We look forward to returning again, whenever we visit Europe.

Everything was perfect. The room was large and the tub was great to relax at the end of the day. The tub was big enough for 2 without any difficulty. The breakfast was delicious and fresh, a perfect way to start the day. Service of of high quality. We enjoyed our time here and would definitely make a second stay.
