The room was set on tatami mats, with a mattress on the floor and soft lighting. The breakfast was very good, beautifully set table- Japanese style on the floor. The room was decorated in a Japanese motif with soft koto music and dim lighting. The garden was well taken care of, and the sound of the stream nearby made it relaxing. Comfortable, clean room. Marion is a lovely host who went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. We had a lovely dinner and in the morning Marion had very kindly contacted her baker to get gluten free bread for us. We stayed as a one night stopover but would have happily stayed longer

Our hosts, Pascal and Ann-Sophie were charming and helped with information about the area. Breakfast was delicious and we paid the extra for dinner one night, which was also tasty. The home and grounds were beautiful and so peaceful.

What an amazing place to stay. We chose this location as a "halfway point" between Nice and Normandy. We loved every minute! There aren't a lot of dining options. We had pizza at a nearby campground for dinner. I highly recommend staying in the beautiful, historical Chateau.
