The quirkiness, thecwellvresearched history and the opulence.
For travellers who enjoy beauty in the simple things, a bed and breakfast (B&B) is the perfect place for a getaway. Hosts welcome guests into their homes and provide a private room and complimentary breakfast. Bathrooms may be shared by other guests, and there is often shared space with the host.
It was real luxury! The bed was very comfortable and the sheets felt amazing.
I loved having fresh milk in the room. The heated towel rail in the bathroom was much appreciated. The whole hotel was beautifully furnished and the view from the breakfast room was lovely.
The spa was the best I have ever seen. All the staff were very helpful and friendly.
Fish and chips were fab in the bistro, breakfast great. Spa nice, the location is outstanding, right on the edge of the beautiful Yorkshire Dales. Overall quite a luxury option, helpful staff, well maintained gardens.
Staff were all really friendly, and service was great throughout. The bed was one of the most comfortable beds I've ever slept in and the sheets were so soft. Helped by the amazing blackout curtains that kept the room lovely and dark, one of the best sleeps I've had in a very long time! Lovely and quiet as well.
Hotel in a beautiful setting
Room was exceptionally clean and a touch of luxury
Breakfast was amazing!
Spa a lovely added extra too.
Will definitely return later this year for another overnight stay 😁
Lovely stay in a great location. Cosy cottage with good facilities. Beautiful countryside right outside the door within walking distance to Bolton Abbey and short drive to Malham. Family had fun on the steamrailway which runs at weekends next to the cottage.
Really quaint and comfortable. The staff were exceptional.
