We were greeted by an extremely welcoming and friendly host, who had made a special effort withhe overall security of the grounds if not the individual rooms. The rooms were furnished in keeping wiith the date of the building which contributed greatly to the overall atmosphere.

    Friendly welcome when we arrived and the host spotted us looking for the door! Essentially clean, although small, top room, and had use of adjacent (clean) shared kitchen if we had wanted. Bed comfy. Good location for us. Quiet. More of a rooming house feel than a boutique guesthouse but was perfectly ok for us on our walking holiday. Just around the corner from a local local The Globe.

    Unexpectedly great location - walking distance from the high street, in a quiet area with good parking . Very clean, modern and well put together accommodation and lovely host. I didn’t opt for breakfast, but after smelling the aromas in the morning I think I made a grave error!
