Room above a small village pub, very comfortable, with a nice choice of tea, coffee and biscuits in the room.
Great breakfast. Perfect place to end Saint Oswald's way - and the last few miles along a quiet country road are mainly downhill.
The shared bathroom is on the same floor, it is very clean and dressing gowns and slippers are in the room.
Very friendly and helpful staff.

The bar was attractive and cosy. The evening meal was excellent and freshly cooked. The room we booked was tastefully decorated with a large bathroom. The breakfast was beautifully laid out.
The owners went above and beyond posting on to us the jackets we left in the cupboard...

We stayed overnight after cycling Hadrian’s Way. It’s a picturesque spot and the house has been beautifully renovated by the new owners who are a lovely couple. The view from the bedroom was super. A great place to finish. Nice breakfast too!
For travellers who enjoy beauty in the simple things, a bed and breakfast (B&B) is the perfect place for a getaway. Hosts welcome guests into their homes and provide a private room and complimentary breakfast. Bathrooms may be shared by other guests, and there is often shared space with the host.
Great location by river and lovely gardens. Reception was great and ordered us a taxi when our dog developed a sore leg and we needed to get to the train station. £20 for 2 dogs for the night was cheaper than most places with the usual charge being £30.
Great hosts very welcoming, the space is nice and feels private from the house.
Made to feel at home and the breakfast was very good, plenty of choice and great quality
Thank you
The apartment was situated in a quiet area very close to Hexham Town centre. Mike and Lorna were great hosts who went to the trouble of getting me some dairy and gluten free items in when I explained my dietary requirements. This was totally appreciated and such a thoughtful thing to do. The apartment itself was warm and welcoming and had everything that I needed. It was home away from home. I would definitely recommend it. Great location too to visit Hadrians Wall and other sites of interest.
Great location next to the train station and bus stop, and city center a short walk away. Great for both experiencing Hexham and going on trips to the sites at Hadrian's Wall.
Very friendly and accommodating staff, quiet room that was comfortable, good size, with a bathroom as well.
Bed was comfortable and overall there was everything I needed.
Great location in a lovely village. Very quiet. Well appointed fixtures and fittings, private hot tub. Nice outdoor space. Was very clean and well maintained, excellent kitchen facilities. Loads of local walks and plenty of places to eat and drink in Bellingham.
