Definitely one of most beautiful places I have ever seen. Big old house made of stones surrounded by flowers, winyards and gardens. Breathtaking wiew of Douro and the hills covered by winyards. The place is extremely quiet and friendly. Everything was clean and very cosy. Very good breakfast made partially from their own products. You can buy wine, which is also very good. Nobody speaks English, but you can easily communicate as the host family is very friendly.

Our stay was a highlight of our trip. Cristina and Nuno were the perfect hosts, and we felt like friends more than just guests. The breakfast was not only delicious but beautifully presented in a lovely warm dining room. We also enjoyed two lovely traditional dinners which were exceptional. We liked Nuno's port so much that we purchased a bottle to bring home with us. The location was beautiful and peaceful. Our accomodation was very comfortable and the parking was easy and convenient. This is a remote location which after 5 weeks of heavy travel was much appreciated, beautiful views. The earlier reviews noted it was smart to bring my own food which I did. It was a wonderful retreat for a few days! This place is clean it is comfortable and the host is the absolute best. Daniel made sure I found his spot by guiding me there himself due to a road closure, the next day when I got turned around he helped me again. He is gracious very accomodati g and makes awesome PORT!
