Featuring a traditional architecture and granite walls, this renovated property offers air-conditioned rooms with views for the Douro landscape and the Mother Church. Each room is equipped with a flat-screen TV and a private bathroom.

This was an amazing little gem! We stayed for one night and asked to stay for a second night because we loved it so much. The salt pool was a highlight, as was the delicious breakfasts and peaceful surroundings. The small and beautiful details give this property the wow factor. Fabia, the host, was thoughtful, helpful and made our stay really comfortable. We would love to come back and whole heartedly recommend this place!

We loved the town of Miranda do Douro, the remoteness of it, the scenery and the culture. We happened to be there over the weekend, when there was a cultural performance that was very lively and fun. The property was comfortable, quiet when the windows were closed, very clean. The hosts were very warm and responded quickly to all of our communications.

Situated 6 km from Miranda do Douro, this rural farm offers an outdoor pool with seating areas and regional cuisine typical of the Douro region. All rooms are modern and fully air-conditioned. The unit is in Pena Branca.

Colourful art works and tiled floors give each of the rooms at Casas Campo Cimo da Quinta a homey atmosphere. The rooms have private bathroom facilities.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The hotel is located outside of the city of Miranda do Douro which is only 10 to 15 minutes away in the country. It is so peaceful and quiet. Paula is the friendliest hostess and made us feel at home. She prepared the most delicious homecooked dinner for us our first evening. Our room was very cozy and the bed very comfortable. Breakfast in the morning was huge with a great variety of choices. We enjoyed walking around Miranda do Douro and did a boat ride at the International Biological Station on the Douro River which at that point is between Portugal and Spain. Paula gave us directions to two amazing Miradouros (lookout points) - Miradouro Sao Joao das Arribas (lovely afternoon hike within walking distance of the hotel) and Miradouro Fraga do Puio (incredible view of the Douro River) just outside of the town of Picote (25 minute drive from the hotel). We also had a delicious dinner one evening at Restaurante O Mirandes in Miranda do Douro. Thank you, Paula, for your warm hospitality.

Extremely good location for visiting Miranda do Douro and the river. Modern well furnished clean apartment in a quiet location close to the centre, with a beautiful view of the valley and town. Lovely areas to sit outside. The two apartments are in one long building. The two bed apartment has the best view, the one bed overlooks the town, countryside and the car park area

This a lovely place to stay in Miranda do Douro. It is located in a quiet area, just few steps away from the old one, and with a lovely view to the Douro River and the rocks with its mysterious number "2". The breakfast and coffee are delicious and the owners were so kind to pack something for us for our early check-out, when we had to take a 6:30 AM bus. The family running this accommodation is very gentle and hardworking and will be available and keen to share more of the special culture of the Mirandese Plateau.

Breakfast is plentiful and super good quality of local products. The swimming pool area is super inviting, relaxing, beautiful. The surrounding area is quiet, rural, quaint.
