The B&B, Rivalago is located on the waterfront and a moderate distance from the ferry embarcadero which I only used to arrive and depart. My room was spacious and comfortable with excellent cleaning service and a fabulous view of the lake. The B&B is in a quiet location and a short walk to the restaurants along the embarcadero. I chose Cannobio because it was considerded the prettiest town on the lake although not the most convenient for seeing gardens and palazzi. Those were easily reached by regular bus service, or boat. Gaia was very helpful in determining my connections and printing schedules for me. Commuting to the gardens was a breeze! The breakfast was fresh and varied, with more selection than I would ever have at home, which was a real treat! Both Matteo and Gaia were always available to answer questions and assist with whatever I needed. Matteo even found the program I wanted on Netflix and set it to English for me. Thank you both for making my stay so special.

Breakfast was great, staff friendly, and location fantastic, in the heart of Stresa. Close to the lake, ferry, and downtown. Very walkable location. Only a half of a block to everything.

Everything was prefect. The house, the breakfast, the location, Francesca and her Mom were outstanding and nothing was too much to ask.

Set in the pedestrian zone at the historical centre of Cannobio, 21 km from Lugano, Antico Borgo B&B offers a shared lounge and free WiFi. The warmly welcome...the situation in the middle of Cannobio...the closed parkingplace nearby...the beautiful, clean rooms and the service...the excellent breakfast...everthing was perfect for our stay there, grazie mille Chiara e Francesco!
