Conveniently located in the Milan City Centre district of Milan, AHD Rooms is set 700 metres from Galleria Vittorio Emanuele, 200 meters from Duomo Milan and a 2-minute walk from Duomo Square. I liked my room but the lighting was a bit harsh and I didn't find a hook for my bath towel. I would have liked a softer bed and the linens were tucked in so that they didn't reach up to cover my shoulders so that is an easy fix. I would have liked a door between the bathroom and bedroom. I loved the proximity to the Duomo and shopping and taxi stand but the taxis have no place to wait for you right at the building and one that Dario called for me just drove by and stopped far down the street and picked up someone else before I could get to him. I went to the taxi stand in front of the Duomo instead which has a lot of taxis. Dario and Mateo were great. As a woman traveling alone I do prefer to stay in places that have someone available to let me in at all hours in case I stay out late but that was not an issue on this visit. The shower worked great and had good pressure and hot water. The towels could be softer. The pillow was a bit hard so one hard and one soft would be nice. I loved the automatic shades. I was thrilled to have YouTube available and English-speaking tv.

Attractively set in the Bergamo Alta district of Bergamo, Locanda Mimmo is situated 400 metres from Church of Santa Maria Maggiore, 400 metres from Bergamo Cathedral and 300 metres from Cappella... Nice room in the heart of the old town. There is no lift, but not a problem for us. If you go from the airport by bus, you should leave it at the last stop- Colle Aperto, it is more comfortable to reach the hotel than from Funicolare. Breakfast is served in Cafe opposite the hotel and it is very good.

The bedroom was stunning, very beautiful decor and the bathroom was huge. The host helped us out with a choice of restaurant as well and accommodated our late check in.
