The tastefully renovated villa was extremely comfortable and the location was ideal to explore and discover the Florence of Southern Italy. The spacious balcony was lovely to enjoy a glass of local wine and antipasto as the sun set during our four-night stay.

This is a unique property, created out of the ruins of an ancient house, joined with modern Italian design! You can see the ancient cistern below your room. This residence is in the heart of Ostuni, with an incredible view of the valley below and the ocean only a few steps away. The owner was very responsive and helpful.

The breakfast each morning was a delightful experience, especially due to the delicious non-dairy cakes freshly baked by Luca's wife, prepared especially for us to meet my dietary requirements. Such a thoughtful touch that made our mornings extra special! Luca himself was incredibly helpful beyond all expectations. He assisted us meticulously in planning the rest of our trip, ensuring that every detail was perfect. His help with our car rental and reservations was invaluable and took all the stress out of our travel planning. We couldn't recommend Il Giardino della Scuncerta enough—it's a true gem in Lecce, made all the more special by its caring and attentive hosts.
