The breakfast includes fruits from their own garden, the bed sheets felt like they were made from clouds and the staff was exceptionally friendly and competent. For Christmas Eve we had a buffet and a small dancing show and the owner showed us the stars and planets through a telescope (how cool is that?!). It is the perfect starting point for exploring the west/south, and 7 colored earth is only a few minutes away. Please be aware that there will be mosquitos but they also got you covered with spray, etc. so you wouldn't even have to bring your own. Since there are only 10 Chalets, it was nicely quiet - perfect for relaxing after f.e. hiking Le Morne. The infinity pool was definitely another highlight besides the curry we had one evening which was probably on of the best curry we had. Overall we really enjoyed our time there and the "jungly" feeling and would recommend going there :)

We stayed at la Gaulette and absolutely loved it. It's just 5 minutes by car to the Le Morne Beach. Mathieu was very responsive and let us keep the luggage after the checkout. The rooms are great size, and you're surrounded by banana trees. The rooftop terrace is great for a drink in the evening. Would definitely stay again.

The property has garden and quiet street views, and is 20 km from Tamarina Golf Course. The guest house features rooms with air conditioning, free private parking and free WiFi. I loved everything about this stay! The 2 bedroom apartment was comfortable, very roomy, and had everything you needed. The location was perfect. The street the apartment was located on was very quiet, safe, and within walking distance to a grocery store and plenty of restaurants. Parking available for those with cars. Bianca was so sweet and helpful getting up checked in and for anything we needed during our stay. She even helps organize trips for dolphin watching and to Benitiers Island that you can see from the apartment. We did the private Benitiers Island tour for my birthday and it was incredible. Beautiful views from the apartment and even better from the rooftop. We will stay here again!

My rating is relative to the price - we booked 2 rooms and got a whole apartment - with a terrasse on the second floor and the rooftop terrasse - with a fantastic view over the canyon and the waterfalls. Even though the hosts was busy - they were so kind and helpfull. A misunderstanding about the time for our guided tour, was immediately fixt by the host. We have also booked dinner at the place - and got a lovely traditional dinner, so we could try it. For the dinner, water and guided tour for 4 persons we payed 7600 mur to the host. I believe it is much cheaper than if we booked a tour online. The host can also help with guided tours to Le Morne. (You can find a drone footage of the area and the falls at youtube, that we made)
