Elvas the Queen Residence is set in Elvas, within 20 km of Badajoz Fortress and 200 metres of Municipal Library of Elvas. My host Richard was fabulous. He took the time to show me where to park my car in the complex old city streets, actually accompanying me and then walking me back to his immaculate place. He was charming, knowledgeable and made the whole stay perfect. Cannot recommend this place enough, and at the price, the best lodging experience in my entire travel in Portugal.

The room was wonderful - like stepping back in time, with a few modern conveniences. It was my first time sleeping in a loft, which made the whole experience even better. The location was excellent - right on the main square, and easy to find.

La posizione vicinissima al centro La gentilezza dell’operatrice. L’appartamento era nuovo ben curato e pulito. Gli spazi comuni ( cucina salotto e balcone) erano ben attrezzati puliti e arredati con gusto.

Situata a Évora, a meno di 1 km dalla Cattedrale di Evora Se e a 12 minuti a piedi dal Tempio Romano, la Valeriana Exclusive Guesthouse offre sistemazioni climatizzate con connessione WiFi gratuita,... The staff were amazing. This was our relax time from a busy travelling schedule and it was so nice to just stop. We spent some time visiting areas as suggested and had two fabulous dinners cooked at the venue. Were also able to do a wine tasting by the pool and then toured the vineyard and cork tree farm by ourselves.

Featuring free WiFi throughout the property, the refurbished ZOETIC sustainable rooms is situated in Évora, a 10-minute walk from Evora Cathedral and Roman Temple. Lovely, leafy neighbourhood and a great place to stay! The owners were very caring, giving us a wonderful overview of the city's history, and served us some homemade delicacies for breakfast. We will certainly come here again!

Situato a Vila Nova de Milfontes, a circa 800 metri dal centro cittadino e dalla spiaggia, l'Alojamentos Vitinho - Vila Nova Milfontes offre sistemazioni private provviste di connessione WiFi gratuita... Staff were super friendly and accommodating. Love the room just wish we had more chance to use the patio (couldn’t this time because of the weather). Would highly recommend and definitely stay again.

Featuring a seasonal outdoor swimming pool and views of pool, Casa Az-Zagal is a recently renovated guest house set in Casa Branca, 25 km from Statue of Queen Saint Elizabeth. First of all the staff was extremely kind and polite, they do the atmost to let you feel welcome. Everyone with a smile! The Hotel is beautifully furnished, very stylish. Everything is spotless clean and well taken care of. We can recommend the Hotel to everyone who is searching for great time off in the Alentejo.

Set in Ferreira do Alentejo, in a historic building, 48 km from Flour Museum, SOLAR DOS FRADES is a recently renovated guest house with an outdoor swimming pool and spa and wellness centre. Was very positively impressed with Solar dos Frades. The room was wonderful modern and spacious, as was the bathroom. Inês the host was extremely helpful and available at any time, other staff also very nice. The outside pool and jacuzzi space is amazing, just sorry I hadnt more time to stay.
