Casa das Proteas ligger i Sitio da Felpa, S. Jorge på Madeira blot 50 km fra Funchal og tilbyder udsigt over Atlanterhavet samt udendørs swimmingpool omkranset af frodige omgivelser. Det ligger på nordsiden af øen, med en dejlig udsigt over havet. En fantastisk service, med et pænt morgenbord, æg blev kogt og scramplet til den enkelte gæst. En meget personlig opvartning.

A beautiful place with a very nice garden and freezing pool :) easy to relax sitting in the chair or lying in the hammock, since it is further from the main road, it is also quiet Lovely staff, we talked mostly with Rubina (?) always with a smile, although she was probably quite busy Tasty breakfast Very nice room with amazing view of the surrounding mountains (1st floor), the whole house is very nice, bright and maintained Welcome drink (Madeira wine) and a tasty cake (forgot to ask for the name, it was not pastel nata) Would definitely come back someday!

Hostess was friendly & provided a variety of activities & restaurants in Funchal. Her suite was very clean & comfortable, beautiful bed linens/pillows along with a microwave& coffee maker. Alexia room was a perfect for a short stay & the neighbourhood was easy to navigate once you got used to the hills of Funchal. Great place for solo travellers.

Vila Afonso is a hidden gem - it was our little slice of paradise! The view and property itself are just out of this world, the property grounds are so beautifully maintained that it's wonderful to just lounge about in the garden all day. The owner was most helpful and kind, making sure that everything was in order, and he even provided us with lactose free milk for breakfast upon request!

The location was perfect, the room was delightful and clean. We had absolutely no complaints and this was a great launch pad for the first nights of our honeymoon!

Veludstyret køkken med eget køleskab/mini-fryser og egne køkkenredskaber til hvert værelse. Fine stuer. Lækker pool. Mulighed for parkering. Tæt på centrum af Camara de Lobos

Agnelo Comfort - Accommodation H V ligger i Santa Maria-kvarteret i Funchal, tæt på Almirante Reis-stranden. Der er gratis wi-fi og vaskemaskine. Dette pensionat tilbyder indkvartering med balkon. We had an amazing stay at this comfortable apartment! Central location to the market across the street and grocery stores and bus and the waterfront promenade. It felt like we were locals going to the grocery store and taking the bus, not like tourists! The apartment was spotlessly clean and had everything you could possibly need! We loved it! Jose was a wonderful host and he was in touch with us from the moment we landed at the airport and any time we had a question he was quick to answer all of our questions! We didn't have a problem with noise from the market early morning but we always travel with a white noise machine so we didn't hear anything. We found the bed super comfortable. We were there for almost 2 weeks and cannot wait to go back to Madeira and hope that Jose's apartment is available when we do!! Thank you so much Jose!!
