This guesthouse was very stylish and thoughtfully appointed. It had everything we needed and welcome glasses of port and sweets were provided. A nice touch. It was located on the first floor by a staircase above a very popular pasteleria which is where breakfast was served. This was one of the best breakfasts we have had and staff could not have been more helpful in ensuring we had everything we wanted during our 2 night stay. Car parking was very easy and convenient and free which was an added bonus. The guesthouse is also close to the train station We highly recommend A Tendinha to anyone staying in Peso da Regua who can manage a short flight of stairs.

Casa dos 4 Caminhos - Guest House Douro er með fjallaútsýni og býður upp á gistirými með verönd, í um 1,3 km fjarlægð frá Douro-safninu. Wonderful guest house with all of the amenities you could ask for. Marco and Joana are friendly, helpful and accommodating hosts. We can't recommend this accommodation more for a long weekend in the Douro Valley, off-street and secure parking was another huge bonus!

Zimão Garden House er staðsett í Vila Real, 30 km frá Natur Waterpark, 31 km frá Golf Course Vidago Palace og 43 km frá Douro Museum. We can highly recommend this accommodation. The house is located in Zimao, an old town of traditional stone houses located at the hillside with views over the valley. The host Eva was very friendly and gave us good recommendations what to see and to do in the area, like waterfalls, lakes and the beautiful countryside. I think the location is ideal for hiking and biking. The house and rooms were very clean and well equipped. The house is an old town house but very nicely renovated with fine decorations and the attention to details. There is a big and fully equipped kitchen to be used by all of the only 3 rooms as well as a balcony with a beautiful view at sunset over the valley. We stayed in the studio that is spacious as well as its bathroom. The bed was comfortable. We had a great time there and enjoyed our stay.

Stay at the Winemaker er staðsett í Ervedosa do Douro, 32 km frá Douro-safninu og 33 km frá Natur-vatnagarðinum, og býður upp á garð- og útsýni yfir ána. Our view from bed was straight down the Douro Valley and a stunning sunrise was a perfect start to the day. Breakfast on the covered terrace fueled us for a walk downhill amongst the vineyards. Our host was generous with a glass of his delicious wine and conversation. I would definitely stay here again but next time for more than one night. It was a very sweet place.

From the moment you check in, you feel the hospitality of the Casa do Arco family. Natural views of the valley - absolute top. Breakfast is also delicious - fresh orange juice and eggs as desired.

The staff (reception, housekeeping, and the cook) all received us with warm hospitality. The breakfast (home made pastries, regional charcuterie, made to order eggs)were delicious. The gated parking area was secure and easy to access.

We wanted quite and romantic place, out of the city place but close enough to drive by car. This place is located 20-25 minutes from the Sabrosa/Pinhao. The stay was amazing! The room was spacious enough and we had a big window facing the valley. The sunset and the morning views are incredible there. And because of the isolated location it so quite there. Except the room there is also a place outside in the property to sit and enjoy the wine and the views. The host gave us a taste of their own wine and port and we also asked for the breakfast (additional price). Wow, you definitely must have it! Aurora made us a wonderful breakfast. Everything on the table came from their own garden. And the view from the balcony (where we ate) is amazing.

The owner was fantastic,super kind and nice.The breakfast was tasty and with a lot of variety. The place is beautiful,very recomendable for anyone who will visit Pena Aventura or the area nearby.
