The location is just perfect, right next to the time square. And my experiences on the rooftop place was so greatful. I am 10000% satisfied with this hotel.

Location molto tranquilla, casa molto bella tipico stile americano, camera spaziosa e pulitissima. Colazione molto buona, Karen è molto gentile e premurosa. Se dovete andare da quelle parti, non cercate oltre non potreste trovare di meglio.

Location is perfect as it is nestled along the main street. We could walk to most places easily. We took the LIRR and took an Uber to 1708; we got Ubers almost immediately. The property is extremely charming and so lovely; it is like stepping back in time. It is a wonderful place to take a break after the hustle and bustle of NYC. We stayed in the cottage and were very happy with the amenities within it. Breakfast is amazing; John is so cheerful and friendly and his food is incredible! Great start to our days. The kitchen is also open to guests so we were able to get drinks and snacks even after hours. That is a great convenience to us as well. I would highly recommend 1708 to anyone visiting Southampton for the first time.

Everything about it was excellent very large and well fitted out bedroom - very good breakfast - host so helpful in every way. Breakfast with other guests or one separate table. Other guests very entertaining and informative. Each bedroom themed to former president with information on them and books on local history. For what you get the price is incredible. If in this area again would definitely stay here even if I had to change my dates.

The building is well designed and charming in style and appointments. Every detail is well though out. Breakfast is exquisitely done. I have never been more pleased with an accommodation.
