Fantastic location. Really interesting place to stay. The boat was very clean and the fact the fire was lit before we arrived was a lovely touch.

A great experience with friends to celebrate my 50th! Great location.....Nice restaurants and pubs nearby. Ger's barge was moored right beside houseboat for our trip on the Saturday. Ger himself was very friendly and helpful!

The boat was spotless. Ger's office was very beside the boat. We couldn't get the cooker started, but if we really wanted to, we could have popped into Ger to ask him. I hit my head a couple of times, so be really careful. One bed is really high, so that's a bit scary. Dogs loved it, and we all had a fabulous time. Glad I brought the cards and some other games. Close to some great walks and dog friendly pubs and cafes.

The houseboat was cozy and comfortable. Clean and a fun experience. We loved staying there and the location wasn't too far from Dublin in a quiet area with a great coffee shop just across the street.

It couldn't be more perfect. The boat, the place, everything was amazing. We have such a great time with the canoe and on the boat that we are looking forward to come back. It is the perfect place to celebrate special occasions or just to rest a bit in the countryside. It was just like a dream thanks!

Staying on a houseboat has now been ticked off the bucket list. And what a stay. Where to begin. The Roisin Dubh is perfect for a quirky holiday stay with a difference. Cozy and comfortable and impeccably clean. We enjoyed a very relaxing break and even had a go in the canoe that our host had so generously provided. It's a home away from home experience, except on water and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Thanks so much Ger for your wonderful hospitality, can't recommend enough and will definitely be back.

Loved the location and character of the boat. Ger is so friendly and informative too. Having a little canoe to go down the canal was fab.

We had a really great weekend on the houseboat. It was lovely to stay somewhere a bit different but with all the usual comforts. Ger was great and on hand if needed!
