A perfect location - few minutes away from the Amstredam Centraal, but very, very quite with a nice canal view right in front of the doors and good places to have breakfast / lunch just around the corner (or, across the bridge - to be more precise) . The room is not too big. In fact, it's quite ascetic - though there is a private bathroom with shower and bed is very comfortable - much better comparing to well known hotel chains in Europe. The building is historic, which means one sometimes can hear some noises from other persons living there (like somebody climbing stairs), but that definitely is a minor thing - it just confirms the authenticity of the building. David is very friendly and helpful person. It's easy and pleasant to communicate with him and to agree about the details.

From the moment I arrived, I was captivated by the charm and comfort of this establishment.🔟 The room I stayed in was an absolute gem. It was cozy and pleasant, with a warm and inviting atmosphere that made me feel right at home. The tasteful decor and attention to detail in the room's design were awe-inspiring. I particularly loved the comfortable bed that gave me a restful night's sleep after a long day of exploring the city. One of the highlights of my stay was the central location. It was conveniently situated near some of Amsterdam's most iconic attractions, making it easy to explore the city on foot. Whether I was strolling along the picturesque canals or visiting world-class museums, everything was within easy reach. In summary, my stay at this Amsterdam accommodation was an absolute delight💯: the cozy and pleasant room, excellent service, and prime location combined to create a memorable experience. A very cosy room in a calm area, within walking distance from the centre. If you're not much of a walker, it's also easily accessible by bike or bus. The owner was very welcoming and took his time to explain in detail what, where, how everything works... Also giving you some tips for how to get back and forth to the center more easily. The small shopping mall right around the corner (~500m) is quite handy if you need something you didn't bring with you or if you just crave an after hours pizza. In the room there's a little coffee machine with some coffee capsules, a small waterboiler with a few different types of tea(bags), a microwave and a little fridge, and some cutlery and crockery. Everything available so you wouldn't need them, but remaining at your disposition if you do. We really liked the place a lot. No noises from the outside, not even from the owners' parts of the house really. There's a fruit bowl readily available when arriving and in the morning, the lady of the house brought us a large breakfast platter with lots of choice and a big big smile at the time that is convenient for you (having gone through other reviews, they really try to accomodate to people's suggestions and feedback: several kinds of baked goods, an oatmix you can add to yoghurt, different sorts of breakfast spreads, some slices of cheese, meat, eggs...even giving you the possibility to bag up some snack/leftovers if you are in a hurry). What better way to wake up. Did I mention I really really liked it? I would love to stay there again sometime!

Great location for a weekend stay, near the university so away from peak noise and tourism but still a very easy walk into the red lights etc. Excellent communication and helpful advice Beware that there's an active school outside the window literally Monday to Friday! Get dressed before you go into the kitchen!!! If you're there for coffeeshops etc you might find that a bit challenging in the morning But didn't affect us at all. Certainly we would love to stay again. Really highly recommended studio apartment.
