At our arrival, we were welcomed by a very kind and friendly lady who showed us the room and gave all the information we needed about Gravesend. The room I got was large (with two windows!); the bathroom was also large and practical. The bed is fluffy, and so are the bathroom towels—I believe I've never seen the towels so fluffy!

Lovely historic Inn set on the High Street in Horndon. Still run by the Vereker family after 3 generations. We had a nice meal in the bar where our dog was able to join us. Very obliging staff. Great to bump into friends from my childhood in the village. Good selection of real ales.

    This is a budget level and affordable hotel and was reasonably priced and the review is given in this context.. Good location for what I needed close enough to the town centre. Staff were extremely helpful as I was unwell and changed my room to a spare ground floor level room so I wouldn't need to negotiate any stairs.I liked the fact there was a microwave In the room and all the necessary cutlery and plates & bowls which came in handy for me. The room had a very good shower. The room was more than adequately sized.

    We had a family event there, so the location was ideal. The view from the rooms were really nice of a lake, and on the other side of the car park and trees. The staff were all friendly and helpful and the hotel was very clean.
