Felt like VIPs from start to finish. Beautiful home, friendly welcome, lovely bedrooms with beautiful views. Everything you need including cowshed products. We were there with our daughter for a wedding so had the top floor to ourselves. Delicious breakfasts - homemade compotes, jams, fresh bread delicious scrambled eggs which we ate out in the garden. Nothing was too much bother. Melanie and Martin were exceptional hosts and Martin also turned into our private taxi service taking us to and from the station plus our wedding in nearby village with a late pick up.

The central location was good and free parking is useful. Recommendation for local restaurants was excellent. Accommodation was so good and comfortable. Real milk in the fridge for hot drinks in your room as well as water and beer.
Breakfast was superb. Liz can certainly cook and Graeme's breadmaking skills gave us lovely toast. Homemade jams and marmalade topped it off. Lovely people doing a great job. Top of our list of places to stay in that area in the future.
