the place is nicely set up, and comfortable, and the collection of music was a great add-on. I wasn't able to explore the house due to the brief stay, but nearby it was the Vanderbilt House which was a pleasant surprise and very nice to visit in the morning.

The room was well appointed although the microwave oven in our room did not work. We were on the 9th floor facing north and the view was very good. We did discover a couple restaurants within walking distance that were moderately priced and very good: one a brewery/sports bar, one authentic Mexican cuisine. Parking is complementary in an adjacent parking garage.

The location was pretty and remote. We were visiting colleges and it was a nice alternative to in-town hotels and inns.

The space is a separate, single-room loft-style building. It was super comfortable and clean. The shower stream was luxurious. The natural and artificial light were both plentiful and variable. You have full control over the heater, which is nice. The fridge is large, and the stove functions well. There are lots of drawers to put things in for longer term stays.
