The location of the hotel is perfect, right in the middle of the old town. The building looks amazing, especially with the lights on at night, and the rooftop with its bar is perfect. I didn't get the chance to try the restaurant, but there was some live music on the terrasse on Saturday night. We had an ice cream listening to it, it was great ! The breakfast is really good and the room as beautiful as the rest of the hotel. Would definitely stay there again !

The staff is super kind and attentive, the room is clean and comfortable, the rooftop bar and the swimming pool are just perfect, providing us with a great relaxation after a busy day touring the island. Would absolutely stay again, highly recommended!

Saccharum - Resort & Spa is a luxury 5-star design hotel located on Calheta Beach, between the mountains of Madeira and the Atlantic Ocean. Amazing facilities! Awesome location! The staff were very polite and so helpful!! Definetely a place to stay the next time there!

You could just sit in a balcony all day and enjoy the view or sleep with a window open..sound of the waves was very soothing. Having an arrival drink was a nice touch. Situated in a restored 18th-century home, Casa Da Piedade offers a lounge with fireplace, outdoor garden with barbecue and brightly decorated rooms. Wi-Fi and parking are free. the garden and building were gorgeous, the staff extremely kind.
