Located in Champ-Béranger in the Rhône-Alps Region, this two-bedroom chalet is situated in the village of Chambéranger, 17 km from Val Thorens. Courchevel is 25 km away.

It's refreshing to stay in a chalet perched at the top of an authentic mountain village. There is the view of the mountain and the glacier from the kitchen from which we watched the alpenglow at sunset. Upstairs, there's a cozy couch corner. There's a downstairs and an upstairs bedroom so that there's plenty of space for privacy. The balconies and picnic tables are wonderful outdoor spaces and the starry sky is especially spectacular. Patrick and his family are extremely generous and kind in sharing with us their family experiences of this beautiful landscape.

The most perfect location, a stunning chalet, set back from the road, the woods on one side and mountain View’s, …..100yds from the ski lifts,.. so close to bars, restaurants and the general buzz yet set in its own area, with balconies and the feeling of private space. ( no piste machine banging past at night either) The rooms are large, the main living area has picture windows on two sides which make the room airy and a pleasure to relax in, with an impressive centrally situated open fire. It’s a wonderful family home, wood panelled walls and ceilings, a large lobby for leaving skis and stuff. Sensibly organised, …loos separate from showers and baths….plenty of space… a joy to stay in… if you like the traditional feel of a proper ski chalet rather than the clinical, white, modern look.

The apartment was comfortable and well equipped. Very easy to ride the escalators up to the main road for the bus to 1850, the bakery, the supermarket or the gondola at 1650. Reasonably priced for a good location in Courchevel with a parking spot and a newish property.
