Simply put, this place was WORTH IT on so many levels. We mixed up our travel dates, and Ida *offered* to adjust our booking for no extra charge. She gave us fantastic recommendations for hikes that were appropriate for three (distinct) hiking levels among our trio of travelers plus great suggestions for food, how to buy stamps, etc. And, we got lucky with Misurina, like wow. It was so tranquil, affordable, and simple to navigate compared to many of the charming-yet-intense places we've traveled through in Italy (we've been to Italy twice now). Truly, Misurina felt like home in the best ways (we're from a mountainous, somewhat rural region in North America), and Ida's hospitality and recommendations played a major role. Beyond what I've already noted, the apartment was GREAT for a couple and additional adult (one older parent) - plenty of room to spread out, truly amazing views, and gorgeous, Scandanavian-esque simple design. Every day, Ida brought us a basket with all sorts of things for breakfast, including fresh eggs we could cook to our taste, fresh meats and cheese, warm bread and croissants, and more. Also, having a hot water kettle and a dishwasher were *so* welcome after almost 2 weeks of travel in hotels. There are also nice, free laundry facilities on-site, and Ida helped us navigate the multi-lingual machines and get the right detergent (we did not initially buy the right stuff on our own!). And, there's a handy drying rack in the room, as well as lots of storage space. Ida also let us have a later check-out time so that we could go on one last, half-day hike into a wilderness area nearby before leaving. I'm probably forgetting things, but the short story is: if you can, skip Cortina and head for Chalet Alpenrose.

Apartments, Guest House & historic Chalet Neuhaus is gelegen in San Sigismondo, op 20 km van Novacella-klooster en 24 km van treinstation Bressanone/Brixen. Really nice apartment! Comfortable beds, everything was clean. A big bonus is spa area- hot tub and sauna. Easy check in and out. A washing machine would be good. Highly recommend, we had a such a great time here! Thank you!

CHALET NORA bevindt zich in Al Plan di Mareo, op 41 km van Novacella-klooster en 44 km van treinstation Bressanone/Brixen. The accommodation definitely exceeded our expectations and we would highly recommend it!!! The host was very friendly and supportive. He knows the region well and can provide great recommendations for things to do. The breakfast was delicious with a broad selection of breads, cheeses, sausage, muesli, fruits and sweet dishes to satisfy every taste!!! The spa was great and not busy, which helped to relax at the end of a strenuous hiking day. Laundry was for free - which we definable did not expect. Overall a great stay in a great place 👍.

Chalet Piz da Peres ligt in Olang, op 45 km van Novacella-klooster en 49 km van treinstation Bressanone/Brixen. Everything was perfect. The location the host the room. People were lovely and accommodating.

The location was magical, surrounded by mountains in an adorable town in the Dolomites. We went as a group of 10 and completely fell in love with the house and its facilities. Hope to go back in winter! The property os perfect for groups and families.

Chalet Morin is the best highlight of my family trip.. the location is very strategic, in the middle of San Martino Badia. the distance to a large supermarket is about 5 minutes by car, there is 1 small minimarket 5 minutes walk from Chalet Morin. The view from chalet was really beautiful we can enjoy directly from living room. The facilities are well equiped for our family of 2 adults 2 children. Comfortable mattresses and pillows, very clean and tidy. the kitchen equipment for cooking is very complete. Maria our host is the friendliest and kindest person we have ever met as a host. always smiling and giving positive vibes. she even gave homemade apple juice and jams as a welcome gift. Not only that, in the morning before checking out Maria made us a typical South Tyrol cake, Apple Strudel. This cake is the most delicious cake we have ever enjoyed throughout the trip. If you want to explore the dolomites area, this chalet is very strategic because it is not far from the highlight spots in the Dolomites, it only takes about 1-2 hours to get to several places such as: lake braies, seceda, alpe di suise, etc. If I have the chance to visit the Dolomites again I will not hesitate to stay at Chalet Morin again.
