Located in Hakuba, 12 km from Tsugaike Kogen Ski Area, Hakuba Amber Resort by Jade Group offers accommodation with a hot tub. There is a private entrance at the chalet for the convenience of those who stay. The chalet provides mountain views, a barbecue, a 24-hour front desk, and free WiFi is available throughout the property. The property had everything we needed and more. It looked exactly like the photos. The "onsen" was a big plus after a day of hitting the slopes. We will definitely recommend this property.

With Tsugaike Kogen Ski Area reachable in 9 km, Sakka Sanso features accommodation, a restaurant, a garden, a shared lounge and a bar. Both WiFi and private parking are accessible at the lodge free of charge. I loved how cozy and comfortable this Ryokan was. Everything is well-maintained and clean. We visited during winter because we really wanted to try skiing. The owners helped us find our way around, from where to rent gears and equipment to suitable skiing spots for beginners. They also picked us up at the Happo Terminal Bus Station for free, and contacting them was not an issue because they ensured they would be on time. I would also like to mention the mini library section. Although we can't read in Japanese, we enjoyed it and were able to find our favorite Japanese anime comics. Additionally, we opted for breakfast, and it was really delicious and healthy! Every day, they served us with a different set of meals.

Pension Ringo-no Ki is a completely non-smoking property located in Hakuba. Free WiFi access is available in this lodge. There is a hairdryer, free toiletries and slippers on site.

Other facilities offered at the property include a shared lounge, ski storage and ski pass vendor. The property offers free parking and an open-air bath. Mr Joshi and his wife are such a kind people. One of our highlights of our trip to Japan was staying at their pension and hiking in the beautiful mountains around Hakuba.

Host was helpful before and throughout the trip. Good location with eateries around. Clean and spacious apartment.

The air conditioned rooms have carpeted floors, a flat-screen TV with cable channels and a refrigerator. Each comes with slippers and free toiletries. Belnina locates in a quite convenient spot of Echoland to access shuttle buses to many ski resorts. The host Taka and his wife were really hospitable and friendly, and they also recommended restaurants and coffee shops when being asked, which were all delicious! I truly had a lovely stay there.

A 15-minute drive from Pilatus Ski Resort, chalet-like Nomanomori offers quaint Western rooms. It features a garden with a terrace, free Wi-Fi and a cosy lounge with a fireplace. Breakfast features home-made breads. Delightful cosy b&b with the most friendly, helpful and generous owners. Rooms are not huge but ample for a couple with lovely outlook over the garden. Breakfast is home cooked and delicious, served in a nice dining room with open fireplace nearby. The owners generously offered to serve us a home cooked meal for dinner one evening as we were having difficulty finding an open restaurant. It was delicious. Private bathrooms are small but adequate however they have a great large indoor bath/spa for guests which was so relaxing. Plenty of lovely places to visit, drives, local onsen etc and the owners have lots of local knowledge and information. Really enjoyed our stay here and would recommend it.

A 10-minute drive from Hakuba Happo-One Winter Ski Resort, Pension Tomato offers spacious Western-style rooms with a loft area. Free WiFi is available at the entire property and guests can reserve a private open-air bath overlooking the forest. A free shuttle is available from JR Hakuba Train Station, which is a 5-minute drive away and must be reserved at time of booking. Forest views are available from the 2nd floor of the accommodation. Our visit to Tomato was absolutely incredible! The staff was extremely friendly and service-oriented, making our stay exceptional. The atmosphere was cozy, and we truly felt welcomed. The accommodation was one of the best we have ever experienced. Especially noteworthy is the fantastic onsen, which was truly the cherry on top. A genuine gem among hotel experiences!

We have a variety of beautiful and well appointed chalets, located in prime areas centered around the Happo ski resort in Hakuba. All quiet but convenient locations close to restaurants, ski slopes and shuttle bus stops. Forest or mountain views and plenty of fresh, clean mountain air! Fully equipped kitchens, modern bathrooms, streaming channels and top quality mattresses for a comfortable nights sleep. The house is clean, nice, spacious for my family 4 adults with 2 kids. The staffs were all very friendly. They helped us with dinner reservations and arrange for the transportation. Amenities in the house are so complete without any worries. We enjoyed cooking too. They even helped to store the proposal decoration stuffs.

Situated just a 5-minute walk away from Happo One Ski Resort in Hakuba, ZEN CHALETS Hakuba offer fully equipped chalets with a bedroom, a living room and a kitchen. Free Wi-Fi is available throughout the property. If there had been snow, the location would have been excellent. The lodging was cozy, spacious, and relaxing. We ended up spending a lot of time inside, since it was rainy, and we didn't get to ski as much as originally hoped. We were conveniently able to get rides from the staff to go to the market, and get to/from the bus station.
