A beautiful house on above a gently flowing river, a short drive from Oakhurst, a town not far from Yosemite National Park (about an hour by car to the Valley). A generous room with the most comfortable bed we've ever slept in, an excellent, well-equipped bathroom, and all in total silence. Really nice view over the river (if the room is available) - it rained/snowed heavily while we were there, and were delighted to enjoy the peace of this room during it.

Everything is brand new, very finely decorated, clean and indeed cozy. Fully equipped, with some extra snacks coffee and tea the owners leave for the guests. Very private but with quick access to Mariposa, and convenient acess to Yosemite (it's a drive but there are very very few closer options). Great night sky view from the back porch. Good price for such a lovely place.

The chalet in between the trees, the deer walking through the property, the quiet, the lake close by, the good and classy taste of the interiors, everything needed was there. After a day at Yosemite we stayed at the house for a day, rested, went to the lake and went out for dinner at the Grill, beautiful setting as well, food pricy for what it was, but a nice place with great views.

We were a family of 3 (parents with a 5-year-old), and this place was perfect for us. Honestly, we couldn't have asked for anything more. The cabin: - was very spacious and comfortable - fully equipped kitchen - linen and towels to host a large group of people - unbeatable views all around - snacks graciously provided by the hosts - a detailed welcome book with great suggestions about things to do - very fast Wi-Fi In addition it was very easy to communicate with the host and the immediately answered every question we had.
