The old hotel was surprisingly comfy for a night. The room was clean and the shared bathroom was kept very clean. Breakfast cereal provisions provided and the common room area was appreciated. Hope to see the building preserved and restored as it is a great old place. Didnt see or hear the resident friendly ghost.
Nearby Capellas' is a beautiful spot for dinner.

The beach was absolutely beautiful, we enjoyed our walks along it. Not a lot to do here, we went out for day trips to neighbouring towns. We ate at the Tavern one night and had delicious takeaway fish and chips from the store next door.

Beautiful location, got some beautiful pictures around the beach & jetty, especially sun rise & sunset on the jetty.
Staff at the Pt Hughes tavern are very rude. We went for pizza our first night and were treated badly, which ment we didn't go back at all. We went to Drakes Supermarket in Moonta and made our own meals rather than go there,
Other than that, Pt Hughes is a beautiful beach side town,

Beautiful location.
Beautiful location. Much sought after location if you love to fish. Or a nice quiet relaxing place to rest after seeing parts of the Yorke Peninsular. If you are making the effort to travel this far - make sure you take the time to see what else is happening on the Yorke.
