We didn’t spend a lot of time in the actual surrounding area...
We didn’t spend a lot of time in the actual surrounding area as it was just a 2 day visit. The Villa was also so wonderful that we didn’t want to leave it. However, we enjoyed the beach, the sea, the coast drive, the views and the lovely quiet street where we were staying.

We loved the great variety of different beaches, the trees and flowering shrubs everywhere. On the down side, we came without a car and it was difficult to get about. We did a lot of walking. We saw some buses but there was no information about frequency or destination. A lot of people had bikes but there didn't seem to be a bike hire shop. In general there was a lack of information about what was available or where things were. We didn't go to the tourist centre because it was out at the port which was a long walk for us.

Francois was the perfect host, his breakfast is to die for, there is enough food to sink a battleship, his customer service exceeds all others we have experienced traveling around Europe for the last 15 to 20 years.

Christina welcomed us with a big smile, she gave us the keys and showed us around, and she even told us not to rush for the check-out time without us asking anything. It was very nice of her. The apartments are very modern with big terraces, and the view is speechless!RitaFrance

She also helped with some small things. There are a couple of beaches in the walking distance from the venue. But the best ones are some 10-30 km away. Good stay for relaxing vacation.
