This is a lovely hotel to stay in for a break in charming St Valery sur Somme, in a quiet location yet close enough to the centre of the town. We had a bright and sunny room, spotlessly clean, well-appointed. The breakfast was good, with high quality ingredients (including smoked trout, a range of cheeses, scrambled eggs, Viennoiseries, etc). There is also a very comfortable lounge to relax in.
All the staff were very welcoming and especially helpful when we had a problem with our car, which they helped us to get sorted out. They also provided good recommendations for local restaurants and helped with booking these (for many, booking is essential).
Hotel La Terrasse is situated in Fort-Mahon-Plage, just 20 metres from the beach and the English Channel. The hotel offers free Wi-Fi internet access and a panoramic view of the sea.
